Creative Change e.V. offers German courses specifically tailored to the needs of migrants. As a committed organization dedicated to sustainable development, we view language support as a key to integration and social participation. Through our programs, we provide the foundation to break down language barriers and enable active involvement in social, professional, and cultural life.
Our courses combine practical language instruction with intercultural understanding, supporting participants in everyday life and fostering long-term opportunities. Interactive learning methods ensure that participants benefit sustainably. The programs create a dynamic learning environment that not only facilitates language acquisition but also strengthens the sense of community. 
Both language programs are free to attend.

Initial Orientation Courses

Introduction to the German language

The program is designed for anyone who wants to learn German from the beginning or improve their existing skills. Interactive and practical lessons prepare participants for everyday life and provide language competencies that can be applied immediately. In addition to language skills, the courses also foster an understanding of German culture, helping participants navigate daily life more confidently and independently. Deutsch4U thus offers an opportunity to break down language barriers, integrate into society, and build a foundation for access to education and employment.
Aims and content
  • Acquisition of basic language skillsthat can be applied immediately in everyday life
  • Promoting an understanding of German cultureto enable confident and secure participation in society
  • Preparation for everyday challenges, such as communication in the workplace, dealing with authorities, or social interactions
  • Integration of participants through language and cultural awareness
  • Excursions, such as joint visits to authorities or participation in cultural events, provide the opportunity to apply what has been learned in practice and deepen it in real-life situations.
Target groups
  • Asylum seekers and refugeeswho have already been accommodated by the municipalities under the state reception law
  • Persons with a temporary suspension of deportation
  • People with a migration backgroundwho reside permanently and legally in Hessen (Germany) but are not eligible for funding or access to integration courses
  • Family membersjoining relatives in Germany who need language and cultural assistance
 
Course Modules
Deutsch4U is directly oriented toward the needs of the participants. The content is individually tailored to address the specific challenges of the target groups.
Potential key topics
  1. Basics of the German language
    Teaching everyday vocabulary and grammar
  2. Business communication
    Preparation for job applications, workplace communication, and technical language
  3. Cultural understanding
    Introduction to social values, customs, and cultural characteristics
  4. Integration into everyday life
    Topics such as dealing with authorities, shopping, transportation, and neighborhood life
  5. Individual support
    Assisting participants with specific language goals (e.g., exam preparation or in-depth study of particular topics)

More than just language lessons

The initial orientation courses, based on the concept of the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF), provide newcomers with their first guidance for living in Germany. In addition to basic German language skills, key topics such as housing, health, employment, and social interaction are covered. The goal of these courses is to ease the transition into German society and provide practical support for everyday life. In this way, the initial orientation courses create a solid foundation for integration and open up new opportunities for life in Germany.

  • Refugeeswho are newly settling in and navigating life in Germany
  • Individuals who are not yet eligible for regular integration courses, for instance because of their residence status
  • Individuals who need basic orientation support and initial German language skills to manage everyday life

The lessons are complemented by practice-oriented excursions that help participants apply what they have learned directly. These trips not only promote language comprehension but also make it easier to navigate daily life and find their way in Germany.
